Automatic extinguishing systems

Reactoncilinders (002).jpg

Worldwide, machines are lost every day due to fires that often start in the engine compartment.

With an automatic fire extinguishing system, the fire is detected early and immediately extinguished.

REACTION protects your equipment against possible fire hazards. The mainly takes care of two aspects:

- Fire safety through rapid suppression of the fire.

- Protection of both the cabin and de machine and equipment.

The system can provide a safety solution for all types of equipment such as your machines, vehicles, storage areas, etc. The detects the fire at the point of ignition in no time and activates a automatic extinguishing system. This fast way of working prevents and minimizes possible damage or downtime.

There are 2 different systems:

- Aerosol (AF-X)

- ABC Dry Powder

ABC DRY POWDER

The system normally detects a fire by means of the unique and patented

detection line. This heat-sensitive polymer pipe is under constant nitrogen pressure and

reacts to heat in combination with radiant heat from fire. When a flame is the lead

it bursts open, causing the pressure to drop and the extinguishing agent to be placed strategically

nozzles (ILP System) or extinguishes the fire via the resulting hole in the detection line (DLP System).

When the pressure in the detection line drops, a NO/NC signal can be given via a mounted pressure switch (optional). This sensor can perform various controls such as:

- Control box in the cab

- Flash lamp with acoustic signal

- Engine stop

- Connection to PLC system

- Connection to Canbus

Aerosol (AF-X)

The AF-X Fireblockers have a connector for the electrical control, control and activation mechanism of the extinguishing generators. On the outflow side there is a grid for the even distribution of the extinguisher sol. The aerosol fire extinguishers and fire extinguishing systems can be activated automatically by means of thermal or smoke detection, but also manually. The chemical transformation of the solid extinguishing material is initiated by means of an electrical impulse. Once activated, the solid material is transformed into a rapidly expanding extinguishing aerosol that, after passing a cooling section, comes out through the outflow opening of the fire extinguisher and extinguishes the fire in the protected room within the foreseeable future.

The aerosol fights and extinguishes fire not by using the methods of suffocation (removal of oxygen) or cooling, but by stopping the combustion reaction on a molecular basis (by binding free radicals) without affecting the oxygen content.

The following optional items can be controlled via a signal from the system:

- Control box in the cab

- Flash lamp with acoustic signal

- Engine stop

- Shutdown of power boxes

- Connection to PLC system

- Connection to Canbus

- Connection to existing fire alarm system
